While this Event that included an amazing malbec blue lemon combination, it was put together rather quickly. And while it came together nicely, it was so easy because we have been enjoying numerous situations like this for some time now.
To begin with, tonight was an end to a great and fulfilling Tuesday. Now with us, we have a solid routine on our Tuesdays.
Dinner is not always the best planned option as we are working and building our business and the business of so many of our family members. You see we do a Tuesday Night Student Instructor call each and every Tuesday Night.
Things have been going “SUPER AMAZING” and it seemed that dinner needed to be ready at the conclusion of the call. So looking into our growing collection of Fine Wines from our very own Wine of the Month Club,
I looked over a favorite Malbec – one from Argentina. I located the Tasting Notes (something that makes this decision and the solution super simple) and was already on the path to find the perfect “Take Out” or in our case, “Delivery” for what was sure to be an “Event”.
Malbec is extremely versatile when paired with food. You’ll enjoy it with roast duck, pasta with meatballs and tomato sauce, and especially with BBQ ribs. Just be ure the food has bold flavors to stand up to the firm structure of the wine.
I then began the hunt… looking through the options between our two favorable food delivery services. Doordash and Grubhub… though today Doordash prevailed as their services with Blue Lemon were perfect.
Korean Style Beef, Seafood Lemon Pepper Pappardelle and a Signature Hummas Plate
There were 3 of us enjoying the “Event” of this great Take out / Delivery food and Fine Malbec wine. Our malbec blue lemon Event was on. The Korean Style Beef and the Seafood Lemon Pepper Pappardelle were both bold enough to compliment and combine well with the Malbec.
The food arrived promptly, the wine was already opened and breathing in poured glasses to be enjoyed with the food. The pairing was divine and left us complete and happy.
I enjoyed the wine so much, I did help to finish off the bottle. Thankfully I have more in the cellar and will look to repeat this “Event” or one similar in the near future.
The flavors were dancing together within our mouths, and I know we ate and drank with big grins the entire time. Easy clean up… and off to the rest of the evening. What a great end to a great Tuesday.
